I have been thinking for a while about Miata's and the Fiero as kit cars. Drop a shell on it after you strip it down, throw some other options inside to try and bring it all together and off you drive in your Fauxrari.

With a cheap enough price on the Slate, engineering drawings readily available, and a shell you can feel good about taking off and storing, is this going to be a strong option? I wish we could order it without the body if this starts to become a thing but I would bet regulations don't allow for that.

I'm thinking a kit for a Lambo LM002 replica (2-door though).

Lots. Just....lots.
step one - buy Slate
step two - strip body
step three - sell panels on ebay to idiots like me that want spares to do awesome/terrible things to them
step four - use ebay money to help pay for Fauxrari kit
step five - buy me a beer for helping you work through the problem :)
