Korean suppliers could also be an option, LG Chem is what GM/Hyundai/Kia used, may avoid the big tariffs and still come out cheaper.

SK On is the tentative supplier which is Korean. They have a plant in Commerce, GA which is supposed to make the Slate batteries

SKon could make the main battery’s but skate could acquire LFP batteries cheaper and have that as a option if that is the case less range maybe but cheaper price and better longevity so compromises

Ford is looking to cut ties with SK batteries. Not sure what this will mean for Slate and SK sourced batteries.
