Slate is focused on the US but it does show that India could be a future expansion which makes sense it’s a tariffed market where they can easily build their truck and then export it to other RHD countries. I expect most European countries would get a US built Slate Truck though once Slate wants to expand internationally. Assuming this is true, since I’ve seen multiple articles on this but have no idea how reputable these articles are.

I searched the USPTO (Patent and Trademark Office) database for patents and published applications assigned to 'slate', 're.build', and 'rebuild'. No relevant hits.

Applications are published 18 months after filing, so it may be that none have published yet.

Any thoughts about other assignee names they might use? Alternatively, if you know the names of engineers working at Slate that might appear on applications, I can search by that also.

These patent applications were filed in India.
I believe this action from Slate was very specifically seeking protection from an India based company (or multiple India companies) attempting to copy Slate.

Before I retired, my career working for globally expanding US based companies involved decades of travel.
At one point, I lived and worked in India for a year and observed that their "laws" are not like here in the US.
While living there, I learned so much about the people and their culture, but also how freely (and frequently) India companies easily "copy" business models and technology from foreign multinational companies (FMC).
If the FMC is not careful, it leads to significant revenue loss or worse.

(And when I went to China, it was even more challenging for my company -- but that's all I have to say about that.)

I've worked for the better part of my career at a large Fortune 500 company. It was not unusual to file patents in other countries to prevent (or attempt to prevent) IP knock offs from appearing. We would also file patents in other countries before the USA because we could get that patent published earlier, somewhat staking an early claim to the IP. Then we would work on the USPTO.

Didn’t Slate use the Mahindra UTV in early work?
