Add a spare tire and that's one of my favorite variants (not the wrap, necessarily)! I suppose there is a variant that you could cover the rear, but keep it open to air (I'm thinking of removing the doors, adding running boards, and running it like a golf cart/beach buggy)?

The 20s and beefy tires definitely make it. I saw essentially this variant on the steelies at Newport and to be honest it looked pretty dinky.
Props to Slate for an honest baseline presentation, but if they want random people to really notice and then desire the vehicle, it might pay to dial it up just a notch.

Wraps like this make me think that Slate should partner with sports teams for NFL and MLB themed wraps.

They need to offer some kind of folding top for this, canvas or vinyl. I'm sure someone will make them, but it would be more convenient directly from Slate.

Agree. Would not be hard to fabricate those with uniform specs. Think about the 100 variations to golf cart lids!

If nothing else, something similar to a boat cover that goes from the windshield to the back would be a necessity.

(I know this from experience.)

Not being a Jeep guy, I didn't know these folks existed! Thanks for the reference.
Bestop makes really good stuff. I've been using two of them for years and they've held up really well.

Bestop's version of this could be pretty good!

Rollbar / no rear seats / soft top is appealing.
Bring duct tape! 😁

Bring duct gaffer tape! 😁
FTFY :)

Haven't owned a roll of duct tape in years.
(Haven't worked with any ducts in years, either.)

If you switch to gaff, you'll never go back.

That looks like gaff in the photo.

If you take my advice and treat yourself to a roll of gaffer tape be sure to pay what it takes to get the good stuff. Yes it seems expensive at first ($20-25 for a standard 2" x 55 yd roll). ProTapes Pro-Gaff is the gold standard.

That's your Tip Of The Day, folks. :)
