Some basic questions

I have a few questions I can't find answers to.
1. What size Bluetooth Speaker will the BT Speaker Holder Support? I have a JBL Charge, which is much larger than a JBL Flip - will the Charge Fit, r should I plan to buy another - or wait for an aftermarket

2. How many USB outlets are included - and are the A or C?

3. Can I buy the Open Air Kit OR the SUV Tops without buying the rear seats?

4. The IPad/tablet holder looks like it blocks storage. Is that Accounted for?

5. Will Ipad Mini & Standard Holder sizes be available?

If anyone knows, let me know - I searched but didnt see much on these topics

About BT speakers, I recently learned that larger and more powerful units are not necessarily better for the acoustics in an enclosed cabin. I currently use a Sony XB-100 from the cupholder in my daily driver. You can try a few to find out which one sounds best. Mounting is not limited to the factory brackets on the dashboard.

I’m worried that they won’t have this level of detail on somethings on the 24th - as there is very little usable info on the site right now - so that’s why I posted the questions here in hopes that people would have info that I don’t.

Curious, if you know they don’t hve it, how can you expect anyone else does????

I'd suspect they are going to focus on selling a basic Slate and then lic rights to 3rd party vendors to supply 'Slate Approved' or Branded products (Think like the Apple Play store, but for hardware). Thats why they arent telling us what the details are...its up to the 3rd parties and they havent told Slate the details yet. As far as I know, they were still onboarding vendors as recently as 2 weeks ago.

I'd bet Slate is trying to partner with Samsung (for example) to make a Slate/Samsung Galaxy phone mount. That would make sense. But both companies are trying to sort out who get what cut of what price and sourcing manufacturers. So you'll end up with a Samsung Galaxy phone case for Slate made by Otterbox maybe. Maybe. Thats a lot of big contracts to line up. And thats ONE PHONE.

Youll probably get better info from Crutchfield regarding audio. Maybe Scosche for power. Wraps? Go ask The Tint Effect. Suspension? Ask Ohlins or Monroe. Tow gear? Try CURT or eTrailer. That kind of thing. But I'd bet money they are under NDAs atm and will tell you they know nothing.

If Slate won’t release the info nobody on here will have the information, just guesses.
