Hawaiian pizza (aka: Pineapple and Ham) are the greatest combination of pizza toppings ever, and I will die on this hill defending them.
That's my wife's favorite combination.
I tried a slice.
No thanks.
I like pineapple -- just not on my pizza.
David gets my vote for bona fide expert on Hawaiian pizza. I'm going with the shipping destination. Just sayin
I am hoping to get more details on the cab's back panel and how the same panel is used for the back of the SUV.
Typically, an SUV has a lift-up tailgate, but not so on a pickup.
Just curious...

Oh I think so too bud I don’t really consider an AWD Slate to be a 2nd Model. I originally thought they would do a 4 Door Slate XL next but then I started thinking that a Slate Coupe might be cheaper to make if they can reuse a lot of parts.
I agree that a coupe is the next model for all the same manufacturing cost factors you posted earlier.

Years ago, like back before I learned how to drive and then my first car there were stationwagons. Ours had tailgate.

If you read my post about what Slate told me is all that about the Pickup glass rear window has not been finalized yet as to what features they want to have.

I wonder if the composite panels could be painted like a Corvette, Fiero or Saturn was. I think it would last longer than just a wrap.

I think that there was a thread early last month about using various paints, spray-on/roll-on bed liners, etc. There's no way I'd professionally pay to have real paint put on this, but you may decide that it's the best so?

I know some spray on bedliners won’t stick well to plastic.

I'm not trying to drop $2K+ on paint when I could re-wrap multiple times for that over a period of years. Or, as some joked, when shaking cans of Rustoleum is really really cheap, panel by panel.

My cars sit outside in the heat and cold, vinyl tends to only last me three years before being hard to remove. I have done it before, it’s not fun. I don’t onow how much that Slate will charge for their wraps, but I suspect it will be more than a couple hundred dollars, then you have to put it on yourself if you have somewhere you can do it or pay someone else to put it on, labor is not cheap either. I’d rather be one and done.

$500 if you do them. They won’t be hard. Slate University.

Like I said You need somewhere you can do them. Outdoors is not an Ideal place.
Meh. Unbolt one panel at a time and have a kitchen table top exercise! Rinse and repeat! You got this!

Easier said than done. Just say even that is not an option.
Fine. Pay the boys at the service center $350 labor and call it a good day! I’m saving for these sorts of options now…who needs Christmas 2025, when Slata Clause is coming Christmas 2026!
