Could be neither. Is this the blank slate color or is it a wrap?
Slate 2.0Dang. I like that fast back style, but that looks like it NEEDS to be AWD.
Just put some AT tires on it and pretend that it is?Dang. I like that fast back style, but that looks like it NEEDS to be AWD.
That problem goes away once it's lowered.Dang. I like that fast back style, but that looks like it NEEDS to be AWD.
We'll have to see when they publish numbers on range in different configurations to be sure about the aerodynamics. Them doing a lot of aerodynamics sims in the design means the truck may do better than some are guessing in truck mode, and there is that whole air bubble effect that mythbusters tested. If a bubble of rotating air does form properly in the bed, the bed is adding very little drag. Adding a tonneau cover or leaving the tailgate open or similar disrupts the effect and increases drag.Looks decent. This is the configuration I have in the configurator as my preference - fastback with no wrap. It'll likely be the best configuration for aerodynamics, at least without resorting to a third party bed cap.
Have they indicated if it's possible to install only one rear seating position or is the rear bench a single unit?
