Surely, you can't be serious.
Surely, you can't be serious.
Why not? There's probably room for an air fryer and espresso machine too! Probably. Someone needs to write Slate and demand these features!!!Surely, you can't be serious.
Um... woosh ?Why not? There's probably room for an air fryer and espresso machine too! Probably. Someone needs to write Slate and demand these features!!!
Looks around Slate forums. It's a completely different kind of dashboard... altogether.
I like the layout much better, but it’s not mobile oriented so was hard to navigate. Could still use some work but leagues better than before. The Slate configurator is much improved over the previous version, and navigating around is better streamlined with the top left drop down menu.
Was hoping there would be some 'starter' audio packages with receivers, tuners, amps, etc. at this stage, other than only speaker options. Looking forward to the next iteration.
lol they should do a omega dinI like the layout much better, but it’s not mobile oriented so was hard to navigate. Could still use some work but leagues better than before.
For the audio, I think Slate should go no more than a DIN or Double DIN option and have the users have at it, with decent wiring and power options.
Leaving that out would be a.big oversight because they know audio is important to people.I think they will most likely have both single and double din listed before launch. They will also be having 3rd party options there, it will be the "marketplace" so there will likely be options to do a whole audio package, if not at launch, soon after.
Maybe they'll offer a "DIN Radio Kit" that provides everything you need except the radio unit and your choice of speakers.

Except it stands in contrast to the notion of Radical Simplicity you so often mention here.Leaving that out would be a.big oversight because they know audio is important to people.
You're hallucinating a contradiction that doesn't exist.Except it stands in contrast to the notion of Radical Simplicity you so often mention here.
I find your contradictions humorous! Soon you’ll be advocating for subscription based services 🤣
Did anyone notice that when you select 'bring your own speaker' options that a JBL Bluetooth speaker appears in the center mount? To get to the hotspots, first click on the little camera icon in the lower left corner while in the configurator. This will open a white window on the right. click the 3d mode slider and wait. When 3d mode finally activates, another slider will appear that says animation hotspots.
Fair enough!Edit: If I ever appear to contradict myself just point it out. I'm happy to clarify and resolve the conflict.
Ok. Rather strong & pointed phrasing calling this a 'hallucination' but I'll explain my point for you since it appears you don't see your contradiction. Here's my evidence:You're hallucinating a contradiction that doesn't exist.
The point you made was not 'making a simpler to install stereo' - it's about your position that Slate needs to 'provide a whole audio package'.Making it simpler to install a stereo doesn't go against Slate's ethos of Radically Simplicity.
In referring to the above quote where you place emphasis on the phrase "there will likely be options to do a whole audio package" you state a position (presumably yours) that a Whole Audio Package is important to People. and Slate ought to provide it.Leaving that out would be a.big oversight because they know audio is important to people.I think they will most likely have both single and double din listed before launch. They will also be having 3rd party options there, it will be the "marketplace" so there will likely be options to do a whole audio package, if not at launch, soon after.
