My 2013 Silverado has crank windows. I've had that truck for 5 years now, and I am not complaining. Come on, it's a truck.

I'm excited for it, probably the only thing I might add is the speakers, but the idea of a bluetooth speaker is ok for me also
I definitely want speakers so I can hear the navigation (from the phone) when I’m driving somewhere unfamiliar.

Now they should consider “no power assist” for the steering wheel.
My first car had that, it was a way way lighter car then sʟᴀᴛᴇ, or even just the battery pack on the sʟᴀᴛᴇ! My second car started a long line of cars with power assist steering, and I’m not sure I would be willing to go back. (pro tip to anyone that has only had power steering, always get the car moving before you try too steer, in manual steering it saves muscle strength, in power steering it saves tire wear).

It will be interesting to see how basic folks will be willing to go. Believe it or not, I'd like to opt out of having air conditioning (remember the days when A/C was an extra cost option?). But I understand there might only be 3 or 4 of us willing to go full-on Zen/Amish like that!
My first car had A/C, but it never worked, and eventually I removed the compressor since it was just dead weight.

I really don’t want to go back to that. Unlike lack of power steering which is just a little effort to overcome (and power windows) lack of A/C is like a whole unpleasant thing where I’m likely to say things like “do we really need it?” and “can we wait for November to buy that?” (starting in April or earlier)...

Yeah, you are on your own there. (and my second ever car, the first one I had with A/C? Cost less then sʟᴀᴛᴇ! It was also plastic though....)

My plan is to commute with this truck 120 miles a day. My first truck also had roll down windows. I don't want or need fancy, I just want a truck, EV, quirky and modular, plus the 6'10" MT reviewer fit comfortably in it, so I'm pretty sure it'll work for me, I'm 5" shorter.
