If their charge is based on US or international sales makes a big difference. US sales should be unaffected by Chinese EVs, since they aren't here. Internationally, EV sales are still climbing, but possibly Chinese models taking an increasing chunk of the market might be the issue.

Im pretty sure this is focusing on the EREV (gas generator charges the battery) and not the EV only.

America is not china or europe and I think people have range anxiety and EREV satisfies that.

I want all EVs but if I have a roadtrip car it needs to be gas or EREV.

My plan right now is to get a used kia carnival and install comma.ai. Then get the slate for daily driving.
