That horn says "hello hello did you not see me here mate?" I need an upgrade to "watch out dammit!" 😬

Is there a video showing where the horn is located? I bought a pair of Hella horns for the CX-3 back in 2018 and didn't manage to install due to difficulty of access. Hold on, is it a physical horn or a sound clip in an EV?
I was thinking those same things! I went down a rabbit hole on my Lightning last year on adding train horns (completely inappropriate) under the frunk.

Cool! A physical horn I can work with.

On the CX-3 I need to detach the front facade from the body to get to the horn. Last year it stopped sounding so I ended up reaching in from a narrow gap between a top trim and the front piece. The horn was filled with small rocks and debris from the road. The electrical connector is only for the positive, the grounding point was the mounting bracket. Let me find a clip that shows the horn on Slate.

The horn reminds me of a gentle Midwestern "ope" instead of :swear:

If your drive your Slate with your 3 year old accidentally in there, they hopefully will see the little shiny button and press it. Then they'll get some air, and hopefully you will notice the frunk is ajar. Then you will question your life choices and your child's life choices. :)
It's a harsh view of the world, but as a society we are not doing ourselves any favors by constantly trying to short circuit natural selection.

Gotta rethink that horn. My golf cart horn is stouter than that. That sounds like a Road Runner mating call.
Hah, it has the same horn as my Geo does. A proper tiny truck sound.

One of the mods I was going to do to my LTD until I decided against it was the Cadillac Four-Note Horn conversion, THAT might be a fun Slate project. Plenty of Caddies in the junkyard for pickin'

A Fiamm Freeway Blaster Low Tone replacement horn will get the job done. I put one on my motorcycle. Sound sample 8 seconds in...

That’s the right idea, but I’d want a little stronger still.

There’s a good point of reference for the marketing. Instead of “it can fit this many grocery bags/golf bags/suitcases!” they should just say “it can fit a whole person, the safety authorities said so”.
I think a Halloween video last year alluded to the amount of room in the frunk for things like an axe, a shovel...
