Do we know if Slate is on this forum?

Do we know if anybody from Slate is on this forum? Or are we just spit balling for fun?

I don’t necessarily wanna know who they are, I feel they would get bombarded

But it would be nice to know they are lurking and maybe taking suggestions and notes

There’s an account with the username administrator.

If you look at the thread titled custom statelets. You can see where someone tagged at administrator to request opening of file sharing for STL files. The administrator responded and opened up file sharing.

They Slate overlords are watching. 😊

Maybe, but administrator has been on these forms since 2018 so probably not a Slate employee

This forum is open to virtually anyone, full access to registered members, although non-members and guests have read only access. I'm certain that Slate employees and management occasionally review and / or search key words to take the pulse of their fan club. That said, if I worked at Slate, I would probably do the same.

This forum is third party. There are many forums that use this same forum software (xenforo I believe) and all the big automotive forums have sorta formed a consortium. I transferred my account from the Honda civicx forum.

Scout Motors however has created an official forum for their community. It seems they're really really serious about community involvement. I wish Slate were proactive like that too especially since they specifically advertise DIY as a feature, which absolutely needs involvement and feedback from their prospective customer base.

Trust me, Slate is doing market research on this forum. Why would they ignore a source of free market research for a product they are releasing.
