The "Not a Ford" row cracked me up. Awesome!
Well I DO like my Mach E. Yet over on the Ford forum, they are again batting back and forth the issues with getting doors and liftgates to lock or mostly UN-lock using the various software methods. Sigh....I mean how hard is it to make a key fob small and powerful that people will employ and quit frogging around with their phone. Take heed Slate! Other than battery replacements I drove 5 various Honda's for many years/miles and the key fobs never let me down once. The Element (my fav)and the early Ridgeline even started the engine with a key. Imagine that!

The key for my FJ works every time and also locks/unlocks with zero fuss. My old VW Alltrack fob worked great too. If I never touch the Slate app I will be perfectly happy.

If we had teslas on the list there would be a "not a Tesla" row
Teslas are actually decent cars that still have the best software and software support in the EV world. None of the legacy manufacturers can really match Tesla yet when it comes to well built software that integrates with the vehicle. Ford on the other hand, well they can't even do ICE right and they've been at it for over a century, so it makes sense for them to be the butt of a joke.

I think software, battery management, and motors are the best parts of Teslas. The rest of the build is less than stellar. Interior fit and finish, suspension, and ride quality are all pretty bad (although some people love the front seats). A used five year old Tesla feels more like a 10 year old car.

I thought about adding Cybertruck to the chart but giving it a “Not a Ford” star seems like more than it deserves.

Elon musk is making a lot of bad things with DOGE like classifying education as a non-essential service. Plus he's acoceated with the orange man. But that has nothing to do with the actual cars so yes once I get past that and the cybertruck.
