Yes. Hoping they offer a kit as an option. Heated seats are a must in an EV without a heat pump. We’ll be afraid to use the cabin heater much when the projected range drops 50 miles. The seat takes the edge off.Is anyone interested in heated seats, I'm in upstate NY and it would be nice to have.
Yes. I consider heated seats basically mandatory in an EV that's going to be driven in Michigan winters. Is anyone interested in heated seats, I'm in upstate NY and it would be nice to have.
I think that's the exact set I installed in my ranger a decade ago. They worked great. Hardest part was getting the seat cover off and back on. Hopefully the Slate seat covers are as easy to come off as they seem.Yes. I consider heated seats basically mandatory in an EV that's going to be driven in Michigan winters.
This set is about $65: https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-8240-628-040.aspx and I believe it could go under the zip-off fabric seat covers. It comes with a switch and wiring, I plan to get the 5-switch aux panel from Slate but if you don't want that you don't need to use two for that.
IMHO it's likely they'll offer an official bun warmer accsessory.I’d prefer the accessories that I put on my Slate to be made for Slate and not a universal fit application that doesn’t fit very well.
Seat warmer was actually mentioned months ago by Slate in interviews, so yeah, it's got to be something they are working on. Maybe not finalized yet, but they have nearly 6 months before just about any of us will have a chance to order accessories.IMHO it's likely they'll offer an official bun warmer accsessory.
Yeah I vaguely recall someone from Slate talking about adding seat heat as a seat cover.Seat warmer was actually mentioned months ago by Slate in interviews, so yeah, it's got to be something they are working on.
