Hey yall, after seeing and feeling the Slate Truck in person, there are a few accessories that I think should/could be added as options. I'd like this to be a space where we can all throw ideas together. Whether Slate or the aftermarket make these, I think more ideas is moar better. My goal is to keep these suggestions within the realm of reason, so not things like torque controlled steering actuators for use with Comma.ai, etc.

1) Leather wrapped door armrests/pulls.
- The door pulls/armrests (as well as the center console lid) are all a hard plastic. I'd like an option that basically clips around to add a 1/4" or so of padding & leather, just to make it feel a bit more premium (and more comfortable). The options in the Slate Maker currently appear to just be vinyl wraps.

2) Pickup Storage Chest
- As noted in my Ember Goods event thread, I think they should build a toolbox that replaces the floor panel in the bed that covers the rear set mounts. A drop in toolbox with a key to lock it that bolts to the existing seat bracketry under the existing panel would be ideal.

3) Lower door card speaker panels
- The bottom of the doors have easily removable panels. I'd like to see them sell a drop in replacement set that features common aftermarket speaker sizes to tap into the existing wiring for the Premium Audio speakers in the dash.

4) Rear subwoofer enclosure to work with or without the center console
- There is quite a bit of space between the seats and the rear bulkhead. It'd be awesome to see an option for adding even a small 8" subwoofer or something like that in this area.

5) Dead Pedal Grip in "Pedal Kit"
- The Pedal Kit shown in the Slate Maker doesn't change the dead pedal area of the floorboard at all. Some added grip & texture would be nice to include. Not a big deal.

Let me know what you all think about these option ideas, or if you have some of your own. This Truck seems like an awesome playground for customization.

Some things I’d like are t-bolt MagSafe mounts for the Top and Bottom T-rails in the center console. Get some RAM Mounts for the Slate. And on the doors, I see four bolts, there can be mesh pockets and cup/tool holders.
In the truckbed, have a storage mount that mounts to the seat bolts.
There are also many options for accessories with the t-rail along the sides of the truckbed.

Mesh pockets on the doors like a XL version of a backpack’s water bottle pockets would be amazing.

If slate doesn't make this I could put a product together for sale.

I would go big and do a cyberpunk 2077 style dash not practical like at all but damn would it look good like look at “v’s” dash in the game amazing but a more practical accessory I’d say maybe a slide on camper pop top or something like door speakers I can’t remember if they confirmed that would a option or not

1) emergency snacks
2) first aid kits
3) tire repair stuff (jack, tire iron, maybe spare lugs)
4) maybe wether gear like a poncho or just extra cloths

Ate least that’s my set up

Assuming these will be manual seats, ought to be plenty of storage opportunity there, maybe a nice slide out accessor?

If I remember correctly the storage it bolt into like the inside of the seat right behind your back and not on the back of the seat kinda like a fold down cup holder and yah under seat storage is good and if the seats are high enough for one makes cleaning under 10x better

In keeping with Slate’s multi use for parts perhaps the SUV rear seat can be tweaked to also serve as a front seat with console.
6 passenger?

Hmmmm depends I don’t think we have gotten a lock at what’s under that center piece that is the “floor console” if it’s flat that could work with the right bracket like they use in the back
