Adding a few pins that sit in sockets to the hinge side would solve the 'stealing doors' concerns. The pins rest in the frame on the hinge side when the door is shut and the latch secures the other side, effectively creating a barred door with no moving parts (other than the door latch itself). Even after removing the entire hinge, the door still cant be removed. Its low tech and still used on most every security door to this day.
