Thanks for sharing. Love the close ups
The one at the Olympia, WA event drove up to the coffee shop.I'm interested in whether they have any that actually can be driven by them, even if it's only across the parking lot to the stage.
Bringing this back up regarding the headlight switch and gauge (screen) light dimming control.Where are the headlight switch, and flashers?
Given that the stalk probably has a simple headlight switch, it probably wouldn't be that hard to get at least the on/off portion over to the old style switch. Wonder if the dimming controls will be done on the screen or a little stick out stick like most digital cars I've driven.Bringing this back up regarding the headlight switch and gauge (screen) light dimming control.
Last night I was driving my 1997 Z3 and got to thinking about the Slate's headlight switch control. The Z3 has a classic old school headlight switch, which is a pull-on switch with a rotating function that dimms the gauge/dash lights. Many models of cars from the 60's and 70's used this simple switch design.
Such a switch would be an inexpensive effective solution for controlling the headlights and dash lights and would fit in perfectly with the manual rollup windows meme.
