I’m not certain, but I’d think with no back wall of the cab and no cage, there would be some flex in the body that wouldn’t be good. I could me wrong, it’s just a guess.

I’m pretty sure the Open Air can’t get the sought after five star crash rating without the roll bar as the rear seat airbags are part of the roll bar. Also the third brake light is mounted to the rear cross bar.
