Have fun doing the audio. It's easier than it seems. I've done so many in my life. First was a quadraphonic 8-track in a Ford Falcon. I've never done a double-din though. Looking forward to it.
My falcon needs a radio but its low on the list. I imagine I will get to it before the Slate comes out though.

Going back to the first of my friends getting a car and time for a stereo upgrade. I was always a wiz with electronics so I took to car stereos like a duck to water. No internet for help either. Trial and error and I got pretty dang good at it. So much so if anyone in my high school wanted stereo work done, I was the guy. Should have went for some type of engineering degree but was also very good at math so BBA in Finance it was. Have not used the degree in 30 years. LOL
