Not to seem unpatriotic because really I am, but in a way I’d prefer Chinese buyer like BYD instead of any of Big Three.
As the Big Three are not so much Made in the USA but rather assembled in the USA from foreign sourced parts.
Not just cars as I was given an old rototiller that had a Briggs and Stratton engine on it. Ran like crap so I ordered up a head gasket and carb rebuilt kit, both genuine Briggs and Stratton parts and both had "Made in China" on the packaging.
Over $30 for parts alone and they were not even made in the USA.
It still ran like crap so I paid $99 for a Chinese Predator engine from Harbor Freight and it works perfectly.

Harbor Freight is an American Company, even if they are more of an importing retailer than a manufacturer.

Currently imagining a red and white Slate truck pulling their little red Haul Master trailer with white rails and Black and Red Predator solar panels set up on the roof rack to form a canopy with awning charging the Truck.
Indiana's close enough to Illinois that HF could sell it under their Chicago Electric brand LOL

Saturn didn't start out independent but GM gave them more independence in the beginning until at the end the Saturn Vue was a rebadged Equinox and I think Saturn had a version of the Pontiac Solstice. Saturn morphed in to another GM product.
I knew Saturn was officially dead-to-GM when they started selling the Relay.
