I've been using the same username since highschool so it's pretty boring 😂
There was no internet when I was in high school. :CWL:

Still is!

And dirt was new...
Right there with ya. I was introduced to computers in elementary school, but that was an Apple ][e. Been hooked ever since, did the dialup BBS in highschool. Took university to use my first SLiRP connection. Good times!

Mine comes from my kayaking days where I was always staying up on the weather we were likely to encounter.

I’ve used it across the Maverick, Lightning, Scout and Slate forums.
I knew I had seen you before! Lightning forum.

Luxrage was based on the Pokemon Luxray from the '06 Gen IV game releases and that was around the time we finally got internet. Much to my dismay a few years later when League of Legends blew up in popularity and they released a character named Lux. I have to explain that I was NOT a LoL player on every gaming related forum for a few years afterwards!

Years ago I worked for a video game developer, and as a side project, a group of us were tasked with creating action figure toys that could be used to kind of play the game in real life. I built a bunch of mock ups out of cardboard and office supplies that were powered by rubber bands and ball point pen springs. One of the guys said I was some kind of “Twisted Santa Claus”. I liked the name.

You gotta at least tell us what the company was, I'm beggin' ya! That sounds like a fun project, making mock-ups of action figures.

Oddworld Inhabitants. Around the year 2000. The figures and game played with them never materialized, as far as I know.
I was gonna say, I don't think they ever did. The only one of their games I played was Stranger's Wrath and loved it, such a cool game!

My username EVfun was chosen because I own the domain name EVfun.com. There is no site there now, but I do use it to forward email for my wife and I. The red gas can icon is just my twisted sarcasm.
