Slate CEO says there's five major groups reserving the Slate EV most:

Everyday Americans
Young Professionals
New Drivers
Contemporary Seniors
Auto Enthusiasts

What's also interesting to note is that people reserving the Slate are disproportionately good-looking, intelligent, and well-respected. People who see them want to be like them. People care about their opinions. They are more likely to be happy. They are more likely to be in the kind of relationship they desire and their partners are more attractive, too. Their kids are better-behaved. They carry less debt and it tends to be "good debt" (low interest rate, used to pay for long term beneficial things like a house or an education.) Some of them fight crime on the side.

Perhaps they are being paid to sit 24/7 on slate forums and keep praising mavericks?

I do it in hopes that the CEO of slate will read it and say yea he is right we need to sell the slate for 20k because at the end of the day it is just a stripped down truck. They should you know we should use the same game plan as the video game industry sell the truck at a loss to make it up on the over priced accessories. 😊

What stripped down new truck can you get for 20k, or even 25k?
Inflation is no joke, and the only reason I don't already have an EV is they have always cost significantly more than gas powered equivalent.

Depends on the state of gasoline prices the way I view it.

In California with the highest gas prices, everyone one is shifting to EV and PHEV.

My consistently depreciating asset (Ford BEV) is actually climbing up in resale value.

Figure that out!
