Fun! They're producing a truck and SUV variant, and hinted at two other variations for 2028. Assuming that will be the fastback and open air? Also interesting that a lot of people in the room already know about Slate.

The point of the collabs is to show off that you can customize, and mostly customize the wraps.
What can you think of that would be a better choice. Tool companies, stores and similar are probably being too cautious, as they actually need/use more heavy duty trucks, like in the F350 range.

From the display case, looks like quite a few models look like this and not the final build. Probably still prototyping. I noticed the grey piece and think they may be designing it like the real Slate. Remove the grey piece and attach the open air, SUV and Fastback.

Gotcha. They are probably PLA 3d printed items.

Folks, it’s becoming apparent that Slate with all its planned collaborations is taking us back to our childhood days.

Chris Barman made a reference comparing the Slate to Mr. Potato head in an early video. Looking at the Slates on display in their LA design studio, the colors on some of the wraps do resemble Fisher Price. They even parked a Slate outside a Kindergarten school in Warsaw wrapped in a knitted sweater. What could possibly be next, Slate featured on a box of Kellogg’s cereal or even Play Doh? I know the recent remake of the Barbie movie was a big hit, perhaps Slate can find some opportunities there.

All of this aside, does anyone here think it might be time for some adult-themed collaborations?
