Not sure the Slate will be available with a manual transmission. 😂

Except for the four wheels being compeltely unattached, this is probably one of the cleanest AI generated 3d models I've looked at. At least there's no errors showing up on my resin slicer. I might actually give this a go!
ahem with 3d printing anything is possible mine you have the right material and printer to print the right material. i have heard of a new peek like martial that is well stronger then peek and even peek could do the job i bet as well

You can buy the solid model cheap online:

https://3dmodels.org/3d-models/slate-truck-ev-2027/

Easily worth the money.
Yeah but that's the old model there are several key areas that are different from the new slate model that is on the website now plus slate has states thet have no affiliation with that group so as a test sure but could run into several issues for other areas

I don't have an immediate need, so I'll probably just wait for an official version from Slate.
I don't know if there will ever be an official version from Slate. But if they did publish 3D CAD models, that would be REVOLUTIONARY!

I actually reached out to slate to ask directly if they were planning to release files to the 3d print community could go nuts. The answer was specifically "No official STL files to share at this time, but stay tuned."

I take that to mean it's a possibility.

The only files I've seen Slate send out was the one for Slatelets

There was also a cookie cutter!
Consider me whelmed.

But seriously, there's still time, so I'm not worried. And even if they do release the CAD files, you still kinda want the real thing on hand for fitment testing.

But for a vehicle they are promoting as the modern DIY Kit car for the 21st century if the user so chooses, to _not_ release the CAD file would be practically criminal.

There also has to be dozens of proposed mods and upgrades that never made it to the final design. Those would be really neat to see those released too.

I don't have a printer, but I do have a ton of plywood; first project will probably be replacing all of the panels with scrap lumber. What?

Honest to god, this was the best picture I could find of Clarkson's Botswana Lancia with the wooden door. Plenty of pics with the can door, just not the pallet.
