1: I want to see polycarb panel removal. What’s under those panels!

2: There should be fold-down armrests on the inner sides of the seats like my Sprinter. Take up virtually no space, provide an arm rest even if you don’t want the center console.

Agreed! I've seen bodies in white (or black E-coat, eg: 24:47 in this video), but no disassembly/reassembly montages. I'm willing to post one from my garage when mine arrives somewhere between January and March 2027, but I'd love to see a Slate U video tutorial of how to remove those panels.

There's definitely a lot more to the truck than just the subframe and polypropylene panels, with wiring harnesses and cooling lines and...huh, not sure off the top of my head what else, but I expect there's some stuff back there.

And I'll second the call for armrests instead of center consoles! Maybe that's something that can be done by the aftermarket?

Edit - Found some aftermarket armrests that bolt to the seat frames in hundreds of vehicles from legacy manufacturers:

I want armrests but not the center console. Although my delivery window is Q3, I will definitely design and weld or 3D print some when I get the truck.

The fold-down armrests are a great idea.

I was thinking the same thing.
