Oh, it’s a joint decision. Always is. I’m the risk taker, my partner is the planner. We both are very budget conscious.Can’t really help one direction or other, but…
you mention partner, our son, so will assume mother/wife.
That would mean in my house that concerns would be shared, discussed until mutual agreement that either it is a concern that we overcome or a concern that results in a new decision. Our decision, not my decision.
That to say, I don’t need advice, encouragement, discouragement, or otherwise. Was sharing my thought process, I am genuinely curious where the conversation goes and how people wander through their own concerns and desires.
