I would love keyed entry proper, but traditional sealed beam headlights would probably not fly as they have a higher halogen power consumption than LED. That being said it's nice when I had a rock crack my headlight a few years ago and O'Relly's sells them for $14 apiece.

with THAT being said, Holly makes LED sealed beam replacements and they're excellent from what I've seen on cars that have them IRL. I'm saving up for a set for my Country Squire:

I'm fine with an LED bulb version if its engineered properly. The point is, such lights are far less expensive to replace than a modern plastic aero headlamp that for the most part will haze over in 10 years.

Such lights fit the manual roll up window theme.

I want Slate to keep their opening model cave-man simple. I'm no troglodyte either since I've got enough digital #$% to launch a moon rocket. I will say I'll likely employ an Ipad when traveling unfamiliar areas so I can actually see/hear traffic conditions and determine crossroads etc. But that would be likely only 5% of my driving. Even with 3 navigation options in my Mach E, there is a Delorme mapbook resting ready for me between the seats. Which requires pulling over if used in order to not add to the constant cell phone caused crashes on our roadways.
I'm with those who would love an old school metal key vs. battery operated fob but know that won't be reality when Slates roll out. I hope they just use the fob system Honda does since all five of those vehicles never gave me a moment of grief and it was easy to replace fob battery without dealer gouging me.

My 2013 Silverado has crank windows. I've had that truck for 5 years now, and I am not complaining. Come on, it's a truck.
