The AI quote is BS ripped of the pages of the online na sayers.

Battery degradation has proven to far less than any manufacturer original thought it would be. With the exception of Tesla. They are showing higher losses than the other manufacturers.

Travel anxiety is an issue for the newbies.

That whole thing is a bunch of FUD. IMHO

Nothing personal just pointing out the crap negative AI response.
The worst is early nissan leafs by far. They started at 90 miles and within a few years were down to 60 or less miles.

Tesla show some of the lowest losses

Exactly, AI is a tool, but what should be done most of the time is not just take an answer as solid, and definitely not post AI answers. This AI answer will now be taken as a source the next time someone asks something similar.
Instead look for the source links, particularly for sections that have details you may have not seen before, click through to those sources, and read the source. If it's real, and not another AI repost, it may have more interesting details that were left out.

Maybe they're doing what every other corporation does these days and lists shadow jobs to give investors the perception of growth when in reality 90% of the jobs are already occupied.
Do you really believe this? How can every other corporation justify the expense of a department designed solely for deception? It makes no sense (except to conspiracy theorists.)

What "department"? And what "expense"?

I think fake job listings like that are a known thing, and I don't think it costs a company anything to spam job listings and ghost applicants.

It's not my position to defend. I have no idea what 'department' any (every??) company would assemble for a BS job department.

Would that itself be a position posted by every company? Surely there are 4-year degrees in BS job postings! Imagine applicants who are genuinely seeking employment - what kind of response can they expect?

But just to see things from your perspective, show us some examples of companies engaging in this practice. 🍿

Remember when the Industrial Development Association IDA was signed with Kosciusko town in Warsaw? Slate needed to guarantee a minimum number of jobs to qualify for real estate tax credits and sales tax credits on capital investment. I’ve gone through a similar process, and there is an auditing team that will review Slate’s records for compliance. Any evidence of fraud regarding job postings and placement will disqualify Slate from the incentives and place serious financial burden on the company, including legal penalties and payback of the benefits received. Not to mention all the negative consequences when the report hits the headlines. As a cash strapped company, it’s simply not worth it.

And what would it say about this particular (or any) startup company to engage in such deception, especially to their intended demographic? Why would anyone here who believes Slate would post fake jobs have any faith in their product?

Edit: AI = Must Be True!! 🤣
