This video came out 4 months ago during the release, but I just ran into it today.
It’s all in Korean, so I don’t understand, but it had shots of the prototypes in the different configurations.

I only go to YouTube, Reddit, and here for my slate social media, so there may be other videos with the Slate in the different configurations.
Was fun seeing Chris saying, “please, hold on for a minute, and wait for our trucks to leave”, and have seven of the prototypes making a turn out the tunnel and “driving” down the ramp. That was pretty nice to see at time of launch seven prototypes coming already made and shown off. I didn’t catch that from other videos and I take it this impressed potential investors compared to some of the other EV startups that are around/failed.

Showed Truck, SUV, Fastback, and a few other truck onfigurations, as well as the Slate while being wrapped. Looked like maybe 6-8 people were installing wrap sections and adding the topper to the truck. Nice touch with the curtain and the “Work in progress” sign.

It was a good walkthrough and interior shots that I didn’t see months ago in a wider angle.

Don’t know what they were saying, but there were good short video shots of the truck.

Google translated the comments and they are not too dissimilar to the comments with other US based viewers.

Found this on my news feed. Nothing new, so I’m adding it to this thread.

There's some interesting info in there about potentially doing customer pick-up at the plant! That seems new to me, but I might have missed that elsewhere

"A room formerly used in the printing process is filled with locals, elected officials, and journalists. The plan is to use this room in the future as a customer center and potentially a delivery location. The company is toying with the idea of allowing customers to take delivery of their pickups at the factory. No word on whether that would eliminate the delivery fee."

That would be fun! One-way flight from ATL to Ft Wayne, IN = $420...wonder what destination charge would be instead?

And 6 or 7 charging stops. Likely cheaper and more fun.
Since I'm willing mine to be ready at Christmas 2026 and I want the "open air" SUV...might make for a chilly ride from IN back down south...

That would probably be picking up the slate in base configuration, and either having the flat pack kit loaded in the bed or delivered. Convert to open air when you get home.

Well that would be intensely practical.
I had Santa riding the new sleigh 🛷 images, rolling down I65 to Nashville and then banging a left on I24 and a Right on I75 South…shedding layers of blankets every 100 miles (charging stops).

You’re right, @Dorbiman. The customer pick up seems new to me too. I was in a hurry to post before my lunch break ended.

Will be fun to see if Amazon can add the Slate for its stable of used cars on Amazon Autos come 2027-2028

Wired article from Dec. 2024 - You Can Buy a Car on Amazon Now
https://www.wired.com/story/buy-a-car-on-amazon-hyundai/

Amazon Autos now offers used and certified pre-owned vehicles
https://www.aboutamazon.com/news/retail/amazon-autos-buy-car-online

Key features of the used and CPO program include:
  • Selection of quality pre-owned vehicles starting with Hyundai dealers, with more dealers being added in the coming months
  • Customer protection features include a 3-day/300-mile return policy and a minimum 30 day/1,000-mile Limited Warranty on all vehicles
  • Transparent pricing - where you see the price you pay with no hidden fees - and comprehensive vehicle information including Vehicle History Reports available for all listings
  • Seamless integration with participating dealerships for test drives
The used and CPO vehicle listings will appear alongside new vehicles across the Amazon Autos storefront. Customers will have the option to filter results to show New or Used vehicles. All vehicles must be available within a 75-mile sales radius of the customer.
