I did not see anything on the Slate maker concerning colored exterior accessories. I really liked the White grill they had on their demo truck they showed off in Texas. I was curious if anyone knows if they may become available, outside of me making my own and sending it off to be printed.

Well right now we don’t know. But if there were enough questions about it sent to Slate they might add it.

If slate doesn't make a wrap for those parts the aftermarket sure will. Expect them to be on etsy about 10 minutes after the files are published

I wonder if the grille and light covers are the same material as the body panels, meaning special wraps to cover them and special painting methods.
Since I will be 3d printing my own, using ASA that is easy to paint and wrap with normal materials I will have options.

I'd put the chances of Slate using polyproplyene (like the body panels) for the grill and covers pretty high. Though I doubt they'd have the glass fiber reinforcement for such relatively small parts. PP is cheaper and lighter than ASA with a little bit better heat tolerance and a lot better chemical and solvent tolerance. If it wasn't such a pain to 3D print, most people would probably chose it over ASA.

I have not had any problems with ASA in the heat. If I do for a few cents I can print more.
