Sort of.

The Ford will be "more spacious than a RAV4".

I think it'll be similar to the Explorer Sport Trac of the past -- an SUV with a small bed in the back.

Other than price (possibly) and the Ford being pickup-ish, they'll be pretty different from one another.

The Ford doesn't appeal to me at all. YMMV.
I think it is going to be more Cybertruckesque. Will have more of a fastback profile with a powered tonneau to make the back an open bed. Likely a folding midgate for converting from SUV to Pick-up mode. To me a Sport Trac is still a pick-up so the ā€˜Not really a pick-up’ statement doesn’t ring true.

If LFP didn’t almost exclusively come from China, Slate would be using them. As it is, too much political uncertainty to bet the farm.

I look forward to the day when North American LFP gets ramped up.
