It is... but only for a very short time. I'll take fast acceleration any day, you experience that at every stop light.
If you want to go fast, don't get a truck—get a motorcycle. The 186 mph (299 km/h) limit that most sport bikes are capped at from the factory (or well over 200 mph with a tune) is laughably easy to hit on any modern liter bike. My '07 Yamaha R6 with altered gearing was able to do 175. I did it once, sold the bike, and haven't ridden since. I miss it sometimes, but I have a family now that needs me alive.

anything close to 90 mph in the slate is only going to be used for passing for me and for short bursts, it isn't worth the massive battery drain to maintain that speed, and it will cost you way more in charging times than you gain by just going 70 mph
Literbikes were so 1980's. Slow by today's standards. ;)

here's the hat that goes with that bike.
When I'm at parties, and I meet a doctor, nurse or PA, I used to ask: "Have you ever heard about the thing about motorcycles? You know, how they are..."

Party person: "... called donor cycles."

I always thought I was clever, but apparently the medical community not only knows about this, but takes it somewhat seriously.

So when I meet a doctor or nurse (at my age, frequently retired), we talk about the weather. :)

We don't like to see young folks dying, that's true.

My first car had a 0-60 of 18 second's… and 80 hp, top speed may have been 80 with a tail wind going down hill.
Me too! My first car was a 1978 Ford Econoline 150. It had a massive V8, with a Windsor 351 and a four-barrel carb.

But it was only holding compression on 5 of the 8 cylinders, and the tranny was hot garbage.

0-60: 17 seconds.

It's not like you start a motorbike and it immediately hits top speed...
