The array of mounting points has been well covered. What I am not seeing is what kind of electrical access points will be available.
Cab roof rack, check. Way to power and route wiring for light bar, unclear.
Dash panel modules, check. 12v taps points nearby for aftermarket accessories, unclear.
SUV kit, check. Rear seat power points (usb or otherwise), unclear.
Additional blank slots in the fuse box would also be helpful to have integrated protection for higher power draws from Ham Radios, winches etc...

It is interesting that you post this. Yesterday I was scanning their job descriptions and one of the jobs is targeted at getting this all worked out.

It really sounds like they want to make it easy to mount things and get power. This is the first I heard of "Slate Access Points" which I find intriguing. It also may hint at improvements to come in the future.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Slate is looking for an energetic, experienced and effective Attribute Integration Engineer, Body and Interior Accessories to develop and lead the Body and Interior attributes performance for requirements and validation at vehicle level interface of Slate Access Points (SAPs) to allow Accessory Part Interfaces for customers accessorizing the vehicle.

There is an accessory for a bank of upfitter switches that resides in the center console. The DIY rating is "Advanced", which suggests there is wiring and wire routing involved and a required power tap (access point).

It describes the switches as "designed specifically to work with the Accessory Console upgrade". What is the accessory console? I didn't see it in the options.

There are two versions of the switch bank, one for the base console and one for the optional accessory console (with the armrest). The one I linked was the upgraded console because that is what is in my build at the moment.

Here's the base switch plate.

Slate Website Store

But the point is, because there is an accessory switch plate available, Slate must have a plug-and-play electrical accessory contact point that serves (feeds) the switch bank. There's a lot of details Slate has not yet released.

In one of the influencer videos, a mention was made of a 12V power point behind the passenger dash compartment.

Somewhere I've seen photos of 2 USB C ports, one of which is data close to the wheel behind the doors, and also a 12 V plug farther to the right. Of course everything we've seen has been prototypes.

yes, it's been seen, behind the largest, center most panel on the very left. clustered with 2 USB-C ports. problem is, nothing has been shown or documented about any path into that compartment either from below or from either cavity to the left or right.

Personally, I doubt these ports would be be relied upon for any outside of these compartments. I also loathe the location, since it fundementally makes custom crafting any sensibly located DIN mount gear very difficult or impossible.

We still are awaiting more info, but the compartments are supposed to be removable, and other options put in their place. It was noted way back that the compartment space is double DIN sized. It should be relatively easy to get or make a DIN mounting plate that goes there, and either keep the door to hide it or remove the door.

we are both speaking from incomplete information, obviously.
However.... those original words about "double DIN compatibility" was a long time ago, and before they showed off the interiors to the world via invited influencers and presented their own Bluetooth audio system. Since that point, there's been only the evasive, squishy responses about 3rd party audio gear/speakers, typically by redirecting to their own offerings.

I am not optimistic at all that they are maintaining original plans to allow for easy double DIN in a good location. It is objectively the case that the panel nearest the driver to the right is either too narrow or too hidden behind the steering wheel. Even their own tablet mount is a serious drag in that it obstructs two of three right side panels.

I would like to know more about the switch panel. It's something easily added later so not a big deal.

Since no new production cars come with standard DIN or Double-DIN radios I wouldn't expect Slate to support it.

This isn't good logic.
Since every other new production car, comes with some level of integrated "infotainment", they are not expected to support generic standards. Slate, coming with nothing in that realm AND positioning "DIY" as a pitch, should at least not make it unnecessarily difficult for said DIY customers to utilize industry standard gear.

again, I get it - there is much we don't know yet, nothing confirmed.
