What an oddly priced and speced EV from Nissan. I'm not quite sure why Nissan decided to take the Leaf upmarket when it was the starter EV for those who didn't want to spend too much. It looks like they want to compete with the Toyota BZ4X and Chevy Blazer EV. Things like the glass roof and flush door handles don't make sense for the Leaf. It appears to support NACS so it at least has that going.

Interesting design choices Nissan. We'll see how it plays out. Personally, Nissan's ethos and design philosophy don't appeal to me.

New Leaf seems solid. Price is decent.

Tesla is struggling hard with customer relations right now, and their new Y is considerably more expensive than the Leaf.

That being said, I’d bet my life more Ys are sold than Leafs (leaves?) in the next year.

Just found out this leaf will NOT be built in US. Last one was built in Smyrna plant.

Nissan should "truckify" the Leaf platform to compete with Slate, but its Nissan so scratch that idea.

But can it tow anything without voiding the warranty? For previous versions, Nissan clearly said "no". I have a 600# trailer I need to tow.

Murphys law is working with EV’s. I have a 2021 Mustang Mach-E premium (2021 RWD Big battery) 305 mile range cost $52k. I have a 2022 MINI Cooper S EV that was near $40k. 105 mile range. New Mach-E RWD with LFP battery 265 mile range. $39k. New leaf $35K approx 300 mile range. Slate Truck 150 mile range $25k Yup Murphys law is in play. I shall wait for the the Slate!!

I call it the "cheap television" law. EV's are gonna get cheaper and cheaper. They use 20% less labor to build already, and battery tech is advancing daily.

Normally I would and yes, you are correct. Moore‘s law is the one. But the way things are going right now with all the political noise. I think I’ll stick with Murphy’s Law.
