Payment and timing?

I've searched the topic with no luck. How and when can I pay the total amount for my Slate? Personal or certified check upon delivery? Transfer of funds from my bank account as the truck leaves the factory?

You have to first buy Slate Bucks, which can only be purchased with Bitcoin. /s
No idea yet, and I don't think we'll know until closer to first deliveries.

As of now this is all we know
On the FAQs it says you can arrange your own financing, pay it in full or arrange financing through Slate

FWIW, a certified check comes with an extra layer of verification than a personal check, but is guaranteed by the payer. A cashier’s check is issued and guaranteed by a bank or credit union, which makes it more secure than a certified check. I believe it’s more likely Slate will require a cashier’s check, like I’ve had to provide for previous vehicles, boats, etc.
