Anyone else attending the event at the Philly Zoo next weekend? I'm thinking of going on Friday. Saturday and Sunday there's a Boo at the Zoo event too with kids in Halloween costumes and such, so Friday is the only day I'd consider going. I'm a bit miffed that it requires a $27 admission and another $19 to park, but I can afford it and I really want to see a Slate in person. Nothing against the zoo. I've been. It's great. America's first zoo. But I'd prefer to see the Slate, skip the zoo, and save the cash.

I'd like to go but not for that kinda money. I thought about asking my brother and sister in laws if they would ike to take my little niece to the zoo, lol. But, it will still cost me $78 for me and my wife just to see the truck

Thanks for the heads up about the cost of the zoo and parking. Yeah that's a no-go. I was thinking of going, but that would cost more than the train ticket from Harrisburg. I'm sure the zoo is a good cause and needs the money for overhead, but I was just going to go see the truck.

I broke. We're going Sunday with my in laws and their daughter. It's been about 10 years since we've been to the Philly zoo so we're making an outing out of it.

I just got my ticket and parking for Friday. The $27 admission jumps to $39 for Saturday and Sunday, yikes!

I'm wondering if Slate will do a themed wrap for the event. I'm recalling a TV show from the 1960s called Daktari. One of the vehicles on the show was a zebra striped Jeep pickup. It was a long bed 2-door (!) based on the original Wagoneer. I wouldn't wrap mine like that, but it would be fun to see given the venue.
