Service body?

I love the idea of this truck, and I know bed length has probably been discussed at length (yes I'd like 8' lol)

If that's not in the works, have they every thrown around the idea for some kind of service body? I've got a huge F250 with one and it's great, but that thing guzzles gas like there's no tomorrow. My work range is easily under 100 miles a day, so a smaller electric truck makes sense IF I can get my tools around.

I'm sure a lot of slates will get used as delivery and shop trucks. It seems like there should be any number of tool storage options available. There will probably be people adapting other stuff to fit, as well as some DIY because, tools.

A blank body for the cab on back and use RV windows and hatches. A door with my toolbox behind it.

Will not work easily with a Slate because it is pretty much a unibody and service bodies are designed around a bed-less truck ladder frame chassis. It would be a complete design change for the service body industry to tool for a unibody structure. Maybe it's a bit easier since the slate rear quarter panels do unbolt from the chassis. But then the service body would need to hang around the inside of the bed.

My service bed on the F250 is already more narrow than a full size bed, that's a concession I could live with hehe. If they engineered it like that, and made it narrow enough to perfectly fit one of the bed slides designed for half a traditional truck bed... I'd love that lol
