Edit to expand a bit: Whenever they get around to it, I'm hoping they're not STL's. STL files are pretty terrible for further processing, and they don't even contain units or scale information. They're meshed approximations of the original geometry. STEP interchange files would be much better.
They could release STL files, for people who are just going to slice and print. They should be scaled in millimeters. The main thing would be to not release JUST STL files. Need files ready for modification, because the main reason people will be printing will be to modify, like the STEP files.
But it's a little early. I'd expect them to release sometime before the first of us are given the opportunity to actually order the truck though.
It is five models: the truck plus each wheel and tire; so you will probably have to separate them before making or ordering prints. There are a few errors also, but the free correction apps referred by most retail 3D printers make quick work of that with no knowledge needed by the user, like me. It will need to be scaled up quite a bit as the original is tiny in inches and even smaller in millimeters.
