The Slate pickup will soon be featured on Jay Leno's Garage and from Jay's preview words, it sounds like he's impressived! This will surely boost Slate Auto's profile among the general public. :like:

Per Jay Leno:
You’ll see the full episode in 2026, but consider this a little sneak peek from the garage. Trust me, you’re going to want to keep an eye on this one.
This is the Slate Truck, and you’re getting an exclusive first drive right here at Jay Leno’s Garage. Simple, honest, clever engineering… the kind of vehicle that reminds you why people fell in love with trucks in the first place.
In this shot I’m joined by Jeremy Snyder, Chief Commercial Officer, and Tisha Johnson, Head of Design, the folks who actually made the decisions that brought this thing to life. We talk design, purpose, and why less can sometimes be a whole lot more.

Will be interesting as a follow on to Telo. Looking forward to this.
I am too, the Telo was a fairly decent review, much better showing than Scout did, still no idea why Scout demo'd their pre-preproduction prototype instead of letting it bake some more. I'm assuming this is still a pre-production but like the Telo a lot more polished.

Those wheels/tires look like the default (no extra $$) set. Pretty neat!!

any time I see a wrap with a white roof, it confirms to me that's the way I want to go too. I think it looks good with any base color below.

Yeah, I only even saved 2 builds on the maker, one red and white like this, and one green with white top, so they are similar to the scouts my grandparents had. Might not make much difference, but it feels like the white top might reflect some heat away.
