Sliding rear window?

I know that the rear window is removable and then can be put in the back in SUV form. However, I think it would be nice to have a slider as an option. Don't think it would take much to adjust the production of the window in the first place? Just wishing.......and also for a bench front seat with 3 belts......

I think the window is designed to have hinges on the top and open similar to how a cap on a pick-up bed opens. I’ve been wondering if it will stay in the open position so you could drive with it open. I’ve always had sliders in my pick-ups and would like the ability to drive with rear open.

Or ability to open the rear window using its hinges, even if that's only ability to open it slightly, pop-out-window style, to provide some air flow in the cab.

Would you have the single sliding window or have the full thing slide down

In the TFL vid, the Slate rep said the glass would have gas struts. Not sure that would keep it open while driving but it will keep it open while loading.

Interesting. Most of my trucks have had a slider, but some similar variant would be welcome.
