Other than the Gold paint, they are the best looking Tesla's on the road. I've see a few in mid-town Dallas driving around. No clue if they had passengers because of the tint.

Yes I will be rude and maybe kick off but BFD don't care
?????
At midnight, the Tesla Cybercab whispered awake beneath neon rain. Its doors opened for Mara, a courier carrying one impossible package: a tiny moon destined for the city’s rooftop observatory. Halfway there, a traffic drone accused her of speeding. Mara grinned. “Yes I will be rude and maybe kick off but BFD don't care,” she declared, while the Cybercab politely projected a holographic shrug. Together they raced through sleeping avenues, dodging puddles and paparazzi robots. At sunrise, Mara delivered the moon. The observatory blossomed silver, and every autonomous vehicle honked a triumphant melody, while Cybercab requested five stars and a snack.
The Tesla Cybercab glided silently through the neon rain, its stainless-steel skin reflecting the city's chaos. Inside, Arthur lounged in the minimalist cabin, leaning back with a smirk. When the AI voice politely suggested a more efficient route to avoid a parade, Arthur snapped, "Drive where I told you, you glorified toaster!" He spent the ride insulting the algorithm's logic and mocking its sterile interior. As the door slid open, he muttered, "Yes, I will be rude and maybe kick off, but BFD, don't care." The Cybercab simply beeped and vanished into the mist, devoid of feelings.

(Listed under the main topic of "competition") Cybercab is very cool indeed, but its a TAXI, not any competition for the SLATE, cause it doesn't have any pedals or a steering wheel ! Elon can sell these for under 29k but they are NOT legal to drive without the forementioned upgrades, and its not a truck or DIY. Soooo?

So no AI?

I have to say, uh, that is pretty slick. Wow, I have to admit.

What wasn't slick was the Cybercab (maybe older RoboTaxi) in Austin getting confused on a simple right turn and running over a bunch of permanent traffic bollards. That video was posted on social media earlier this week.

There was one testing around buffalo last January. I have to say, with good wheels and a different color, it would be a good looking vehicle. It's a shame you can't drive it, lol.

Not AI. Parked at a 7-11 next door to where we were eating lunch. A young guy came out, sat in it for about 5 minutes before driving (riding?) away. Texas plates. It does have driver controls.
