I thought the Slate wasn't a truck?
If the front-of-bed partition is installed, you're golden.

Edit: The linked thread doesn't claim the Truck isn't a truck. It's more of a PSA about what type of truck the Truck is, and what capabilities you should expect from it.

Never heard of those guys.

But on a little trip to the mountains today, I noticed a lot of older 2 door pickup trucks.

Maybe it's my generation, but if our first car was a passed down family four-door, it was a "drive of shame" going to school every morning. NOBODY wanted to be seen driving a four-door. At one point I got the family 67 Falcon Futura 4door with 3 on the tree. In an act of desperation, I put deck stripes on it. Not a proud memory.

I'm so tired of everyone thinking that having 2 doors will kill sales. I've never been more confident that Slates will sell like cups of water in hell. Hoping for an ipo so I can buy in.
Dealers have pushing 4 doors for years as they are more profitable. 90%+ of the pickup I see everywhere have two or less people in them.
I get it if your truck is your only transportation and you have a family that needs to get to practice. Work trucks for lawn care and construction might have several people in the truck too, but that’s a minority use case for a pickup in most areas.
