Per Elon Musk, Grok is the truth seeking AI.
Those amped up "AI" search engines are so bogus. They just regurgitate anything they find on the internet. Truth. Yeah.

About a year ago, a friend suggested I try Perplexity as he was impressed. At the time I was having challenges with my tractor. It had spent6 weeks back at dealer where tech couldn’t replicate problem, overall a frustrating mess. So I figured I’d try Perplexity, nothing to lose right.
started getting what seemed really great suggestions. Then I checked their footnotes. Perplexity was parroting back info from my discussions on the tractor forum as solutions. Except they didn’t work, which I already knew.

Just out of curiosity, since I too have a tractor, what was the problem with the tractor?

All indications fuel (diesel) starvation, but very inconsistent. May happen in 15 minutes, maybe 2 hours, but only under load, could let it idle in shed and no problem. Once involved and stalled, how long it would run on restart was a factor of how long it sat in between stall and restart.
Initially, thought moisture, even did a new moisture sensor, but after also new fuel filter. No codes either. After I got it back home, I could replicate, just not the time. 2nd time tech came to the house (dealer is 80 miles away), this time during a coordinated time he could get feedback from a mainland tech. Mainland tech suggested bypassing the fuel filter. Added one of those disposal types inline. No problem. Tech determined it was in the filter housing. Eventually replaced housing, problem solved. We left the inline filter just as an extra., but did replace with a new one.

Your suspicions are spot on. From Grok: Ironwood Motors is likely fake or non-operational. There are major red flags:
I did have a look at the website. Yikes. 22 MPG and no A/C (or even heat in the truck). And they mentioned the Slate and lied about it.

Glad it's fake. Hope nobody sends them money.

Mine does the opposite; it will starve out sometimes if I let it idle too long. There is something in the fuel tank that eventually floats in front of the fuel pickup port. Pulling the fuel hose off the filter housing and blowing air into the line towards the fuel tank does the trick. Once this tank gets near empty, I will clean out the tank. It's just junk built up over time that gets in the tank from refueling.

OP, apologies for the thread jack. ;)

Yup.
i also suspected the tank based on my BX experience. I actually u installed the tank, thoroughly cleaned and reinstalled. That was when I discovered just idling wouldn’t replicate as I let it run about 90 minutes, patted myself on the back, drove in out into a field to mow and almost immediately stalled. Limped back.
Now, my wife’s BX, pretty much a known problem and dealer wants an insane amount as you have to partially disassemble tractor to remove tank. implemented a YT solution, but apparently something still in there some place. When it happens, a simple blow back of the line and good to go for another indeterminate time.
