Need topper version. Rear glass, mid-gate, and topper, no seats. Nice if both glass and mid-gate were removable (Silverado and Sierra EV).

I was considering the option, if I order one of the rear tops, to keep the seats out. That would still make it more like a little van instead of an isolated pickup bed, though, without some sort of divider.

Same. I want the square back top but no rear seats. Want to make it our designated dog hauler so we no longer worry about muddy days at the dog park

Same here. I believe the rear window gets repurposed to the topper. Also don’t need the full blown roll bar. We have 3 boxers. Would want to keep that mid gate in place. Likely find or craft a grid type barrier for between mid gate and roof.
have already been thinking if Slate doesn’t offer an affordable, minimal topper I can build my own. If I do likely add a fan and put a 12 volt solar panel in roof panel to power.

I was thinking of making my own canvas top with a frame of conduit. Would look a bit like a military vehicle I think.

I really like this idea! Slate can then market this vehicle in 3 versions:
  1. Pickup - standard configuration
  2. SUV - with full kit of rear seats, roll bar, and roof
  3. Minivan - topper / roof only, no rear seats. With an air mattress in the back you now have a camper.

The “minivan” config option already exists. Slate is calling it the Cargo Kit. Bring your own dog bed for the back. Unless you are pretty short, more than just a mattress is going to be needed for sleeping in the bed.

Looking at Bimini or Soft top for the rear with 2nd row and roll bar.
