Dude, dont know what planet your from.
But when you bring up a new plant with a "planned capacity" of 150k/year
- at first, its a few per day
- then a few per hour

THEN we crank it up, once the team are OK.

and then, after a while, if we're very lucky, we add the second shift
how long is a "while"? somewhere between a few months and never, usually measured in years.

In the meantime, something goes wrong? WE STALL
- oops, no motors (they couldnt get the rare-earth parts from you-know-where)
- oops, plastic malfunction! Color is all wrong and we dont know why.
- oops, (with Scottish accent) Captain! the dilithium crystals canna' take the streess!

Yes, it really is real, get used to it.

BUT! we will blow through the issues, and make it work.
however be real folk. Dont use the "elon-musk-glasses" when looking at this stuff

Yes, agreed, hard for most folk.
But its the most fun you can have with your clothes on!

Thats why I do NOT want infotainment.
I like to hear myself think!

I hear you 100%. Infotainment systems interfere with the voices in my head.

ok, fair enough.
But this thread is about when you will get it? and what'll it cost you, delivered, when you do!
Me? I'll take a blank, and get the options later.

Oh and BTW, I'll bet rubber floor mats will be on Amazon, within minutes, for $50
Lot of other "stuff" as well, sort of what I am really looking forward to.
Wonder what the threshold is for Weathertech?

I own a thinking machine. But it can be costly.
i mow about 16 of our 21 acres on my tractor - pure thinking time. I’ve noticed my wife’s eyes sorta glaze over when I come in from mowing and start the conversation, “ I had a thought…”

You two need to agree on a mutually acceptable cocktail.
Has to be compatible with your "mowing habit"

Mowing habits: I was "mowing he grass", only abut 2 acres, and then I had to take wife for the "weekly checkup", my first daughter, Anita, born 45 minutes later, few days early. Dad still had grass in his hair, one of the most embarrassing times of my life.
I am proud of it, and her (both of them).

In talking with the team at the Space Needle this week, the target to ship is around CHRISTMAS 2026 - so yes, Q4 2026...but late Q4. Most deliveries are slated (pun intended) for Q1 2027.
That matches "just under $27,500" being in the "mid 20 thousands".

so they start shipping end-2026, few dozen/week
production target is 150k / year
Folks that is 500 per day, one every few minutes!
Not a few dozen per week.

GUYS, GALS, even ROBOTS? give us all some sort of ramp-up schedule
so that we can believe you, we want to.

But will you produce 500 blank-Slates, on Jan-2-2026 that you sell, to real customers?
want odds? I'll take 100-1 against

Selfish I know, but balls to the wall and I get mine for my birthday Nov 2026, then adjust to meet demand.

Please Brian, geesh

The phrase "balls to the wall" means to put in maximum effort or to operate at full speed or capacity. It's an informal idiom that implies going all out and holding nothing back.

Origin:
While some may associate the phrase with a potentially offensive anatomical reference, its origin is actually rooted in aviation. In military aviation, particularly during the Vietnam War era and earlier, pilots would push the throttle and mixture levers all the way forward to achieve maximum speed and power. These levers often had ball-shaped knobs on the end, hence the phrase "balls to the wall".
