Has anyone heard of a bone stock spec racing series for Slate. Seems like a great platform for affordable fun.
Would love to see a Slate Spec Racing Series that allowed for 1st party accessory customization. I think road races and dirt ovals would be the most fun to see a Slate spec racing series compete in.

Awesome idea.

As/if Slate scales, I'm hoping some of the next slate models use the same design philosophy as the truck but have different intent: Van, sedan, rally car, sports car/roadster, etc. Or, offer some high HP motor replacement or AWD addition to give it more zip. My main concern is I'm going to get bored with how slow it is.

As the old saying goes it’s more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. It’s not a sports car what I care is it still engaging to drive which was one of the stated goals. That it won’t win drag races but it will still be fun to drive.

If its got the torque am in and hopefully we can get a little more power out of the motors as things progress... I would love to just be hitting the track with other Slate owners and seeing everyone's unique slates :D

I hope there are lots of Slate owner get-togethers/local clubs, etc. When I bought my new H3 in 2006 (first model year), there were lots of "Hummer Clubs" around and I attended two of their meets. Was pretty cool meeting the owners, comparing rides, picking up groovy swag, the works. I'm imagining the same for Slate (fingers crossed).

I actually posed this question to customer service! We were talking about this on the FB Slate Enthusiast page. Something akin to a Spec Miata series would be really fun. Only thing is most racetracks still don't have Level 3 fast chargers available and I hear some don't want EVs on the track due to the increased need for fire safety equipment.

A lowered one should be a little AutoX machine with a good set of tires on it!

With 200 hp, if the weight of the standard battery is reasonable it will be quick enough. My Scion only had 128 when it was new and it can knock over cones with the best of em'
