Sheetz is good enough for me.
The beaver nuggets that I find next to Lakes are markedly inferior to the ones that I can find at Buc-ees. The texture is much more grainy than I prefer.a giant-sized bag of beaver nuggets
Ooh, nice, I hadn't heard of that! This is basically what the Rivian Adventure Network was supposed to be
Oh, the Buc-ees ones are better? I'd passed them over, I'll have to give them a try someday. The beaver nuggets that I find next to Lakes are markedly inferior to the ones that I can find at Buc-ees. The texture is much more grainy than I prefer.
It's nice to know there are options in northern Michigan and the UP. Running out of Juice up there would be a nightmare. I'd love to take my slate to pictured rocks.Ooh, nice, I hadn't heard of that!

Looks like I've got quite a few places to go! Hopefully they add even more parks in the future.

Looking it up, there are L2 chargers and better at many of the destinations I'd want to visit like Pictured Rocks, Red River Gorge, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Boyne, a bunch of towns along the North Country Trail... It's going to be great!
ABRP doesn't seem to show quite as many:

but I'll just have to figure that out.

Well We use Buc-ees on long Trips for a rest break charging and to grab a brisket sandwich. Usually by that time my Equinox is charged and ready to go again.I've experienced Buc-ees, and I can understand why some people like it, but it feels like an oddly religious monument to gas stations and big truck Texas culture. Kind of antithetical to Slate.
I'd rather pull up to a charger at a roadside park, wander down an unfamiliar a hiking trail into the woods, and spend a few minutes on a bench looking over a lake: that feels more Slate to me than 120 gas pumps and a giant-sized bag of beaver nuggets.
Clean bathrooms are nice though, I'll admit the park outhouse is strictly inferior there.
I always thought you were full of “Sheetz”..just like most of us here..lolSheetz is good enough for me.
I think all the employees should personally hand sign the very first Slate off the assembly line. And then proudly display in the front office, or future Customer Experience Center at Warsaw.Sharpie Slate![]()
When I got one of the First 5th Gen 2010 Camaros everyone on the assembly line signed a cutaway drawing of the Camaro and personalized a message to me and my wife.I think all the employees should personally hand sign the very first Slate off the assembly line. And then proudly display in the front office, or future Customer Experience Center at Warsaw.
Next, take a group picture with S/N 0001 in the background. Have all the employees sign that poster. This would properly commemorate an historic event like this.
Sell the signed poster on Slate’s merch site. I want to buy one!
I've seen people do this IRL. This is another great idea! (And cheap!)Bumper sticker Slate (could you fund the price of a Slate by selling space on it? Like a Mexican restaurant table covered with your local CPAs and insurance salesmen.)

With all of the potential variations, slate meet-ups are going to be amazing!I like the circuit board design but I don't know them well enough. Some nerd is gonna walk up and tell me that those circuits are nonsense. 😬

I imagine the cities and towns near Warsaw, IN are getting the first batch and they'd be live streaming their meets for the rest of us. 😁With all of the potential variations, slate meet-ups are going to be amazing!
