I really think Slate might take off in this segment, I've seen electric gold carts that cost more than the Slate and they aren't road legal. Would be interesting to see them try to push into that market

You are not wrong. A pimped out Club Car 6-seater is $35K now...They aren't legal on the golf courses, but make the rounds in the 'hoods (https://www.clubcar.com/en-us/build/vehicle-configuration?model=CRU&type=Consumer).

Here’s another interior view at the exhibit. The driver’s seat cloth isn’t holding up very well. I know these betas take a lot of abuse but so do daily drivers.

Some good news, seat assembly is now under Slate’s control and they should remedy this issue before production.

My understanding was they posted a position for a seat designer not that long ago, so I'd take the seats being seen in the trucks as placeholders.

That would be good as the seats would be deal-killer if awfully unsupportive. I’ve already been thinking of what other seats could be fit in there….BMW, Cadillac, Benz? That would be an interesting trip to the salvage yard.

what about ease of removing the wrap? From my understanding wraps last 3 years. I’ve seen some sun damaged wraps that looked awful to remove.

Hopefully the wrap kits will be $300-400 at most. Bc this will become a maintenance cost that people are not thinking about.

Didn’t they say it would be precut and around $500. You could keep the backing to use as a pattern for the next wrap. I assume buying a roll would be less expensive than precuts.
