I plan on being there thursday around noon with a friend of mine who is also a fleet manager.
They are also doing a Fleet demo with the City of Dallas that I will be at on March 3rd. Hopefully there are some good details that i can share from that event too.

If I find myself in Texas I'll go for sure. I saw it in Detroit a few times and can't wait to have one in my hands. I live near the headquarters (closer to the "secret" beta factory actually). And I've driven past the Warsaw factory.

I would go to the California event tomorrow, but... it's a Friday morning only event, and just south of DTLA, and I also work. Even if I was off, it would be a 3 hour round trip, maybe longer with traffic.

I was hoping to be able to go during the day on Thursday or Friday but it looks like it will have to be Saturday for me. I still may try to go Thursday evening, but unsure if I can get there before 7 p.m.

They updated the website again and just removed the Cali event that just past but haven't put any future events I looked this morning as one does and both where there interesting to not see any future events besides the fleet ones

With absolutely nothing posted anywhere about the California event, I'm wondering if they decided it was a dud and will reduce events. It was a really poor choice of location and time.

So, i'm not going to be able to attend the City of Dallas meeting with Slate.
I was able to set up a meeting with myself and another fleet manager and they are going to bring the truck to us for a demo next week.
So if anyone has any questions that they want answered let me know and I will try to ask. Most of My questions will be about repair/maintenance, technician training, warranty, emergency lighting and upfit provisions, delivery timeline, pricing, etc. that will affect my decision to add them to my fleet.

Oh my interesting id be curious about that no windows cab and unfits like suspension and the likes I do landscaping myself and would love to have it as a spraying truck to replace my current spray trailer only 110 gallon trailer and always awd version hehe doubt they will talk about that but worth a try
