It’s here and so am I. It’s about the size I expected from the videos and pics I’ve seen.

I’m 6’1” and the top of the bed comes to mid belly on me.

One quick note:
They anticipate first deliveries Nov-Dec this year.

I did get a cool bag and got to speak to several of the Slate folks. Nice bunch and full of knowledge of their product.
No new information that has not been put out already but glad I made it.

I’m 100% still all in.

Definitely worth coming and taking a look.

My wife will love the tote bag.

You are the Man! I’m more excited than I’ve been in days. I would not choose this color scheme but subconsciously I like it bc it reminds me of my dad’s rusted old 1970 Chevy farm truck! (Now I’m thinking through a bench seat retrofit.). Thanks again!

I liked how they did the outward appearance of this truck.

Did they just drill and bolt the wood rails to the bed plastic? I thought they would have been mounted to them using the side panel sockets their high bed racks appear to use for mounting.

Were you able to get a good look at the cab roof panel to see if it is removable.

Were you able to get a good look at the cab roof panel to see if it is removable.

If you zoom in on the pic, you can see the piece of plywood they drilled the rails to.
I believe the screws into the wood, not rails to wood, are going into the bed to secure the plywood to the bed. Are they existing holes? Not sure.
I would have to find a pic of a bed with no mods.
